Are Jews offended by Sarah Palin wearing a Star of David necklace on her trip to Israel?

I’m Jewish and I found it very offensive. Why was she wearing that when otherwise she never does? You can’t just take an important part of another religion and then make up your own rules. She’s an opportunist; she’s greedy; and she is wrong many more times that she is right. This visit to Israel (and before that to India) was her trying to gain “foreign policy experience.” The talk she gave in India was to “well-heeled” upper class Indians and if you search, you can find a video of that talk…just look at the people in the audience. They all look bored or puzzled. Let’s face it…the only reason she “cares” about Israel has to do with smething about Jesus’ second coming. It has nothing to do with the people living there and it has nothing to do with supporting Jews.
